How long have you lived in the Gainesville/Alachua County area?
My husband & I relocated from Michigan to Florida in August 2019. It was a big adjustment, but I love being centrally located to the many things Florida has to offer, and plan to retire here.
Previous business experience?
What sets my business apart is my ability to connect with people and help them feel comfortable talking about the uncomfortable topic of money. Whether you have a little or a lot, money management skills are important-& that’s where I thrive. I began working at age 15 at the local ice cream shop and had my own bank accounts at age 16. I realized quickly the importance of maintaining accurate financial records and business organization. Employed 14 years as a Financial Analyst in health care, then led to a 19+ year career in sales, customer service, and a role as an international corporate trainer in the direct sales industry. Simply put-I love to people and have learned the best way to relate is to listen and then provide a solution to fit their business needs so they can stay in business!
What are the unique features of my business services? What impact has 4U2BU Business Management Solutions had on the women you help?
85% of all consumer purchases in the U.S. are made by women. We ware multiple hats, and having the proper tools in place to maintain financial balance is important. Sometimes, we stick our heads in the sand-hoping the money challenges we face will disappear. At 4U2BU, we apply a proper “A.C.E. approach” through Analysis, Collaboration, and Execution so you have more income to enjoy.
What changes have you made in the past year to your business services or the customers you target?
In addition to securing local office space to offer 1 on 1 client consultations, I also conduct monthly group workshops, to help clients expand their reach and establish a strong financial foundation for lasting growth.
What do you enjoy most about GAWN?
Everything! You get out of it-what you put into it, so choose to be all in and take the time to get to know the group. I’m glad I did and look forward to the days ahead!
What advice would you give to someone starting out in business?
Attitude determines altitude, and the best way to reach your goals is to always stay a student.
When in doubt-just keep going!
