Food & Mood: How Nutrition Can Improve Mental Health
While it is widely known nutrition influences your physical health, an exciting new body of research shows that it also plays a key role in your mental health. The link between nutrition and mental health stems from the close relationship between your brain and gut. The way we eat can influence indicators of mental health such as mood, stress, sleep, energy levels, and so much more.
Join Lauren to learn more about the gut-brain connection and how nutrition can impact your resiliency to stress. Attendees will gain three simple tips on how to eat in a way that supports your mental health and well-being.
Lauren is a licensed dietician specializing in digestive conditions and mental health. She holds a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Lauren owns her private practice in Gainesville, where she utilizes an integrative approach to relieve symptoms and support healing in a personalized, sustainable way.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
